What is Xover?
Xover Partsは技術、境界、機能、生産システムを横断してデザインされた部品群です。
近代以降、モノの存在は機能によってのみ理解されるようになりました。一方でXoverPartsのすべての部品は、単一の機能で捉えることができず、他のモノと組み合わされることによって多様な機能を生み出します。機能に縛られない、より自由なモノのふるまいを、Xover Partsを通して再現することが私たちの目標です。
Xover Parts is a group of components designed across technologies, boundaries, functions, and production systems.
Since modern times, the existence of things has come to be understood only in terms of function. On the other hand, all parts of Xover Parts cannot be understood in terms of-a sin gle function, but rather, when combined with other objects, create a variety of functions.
Our goal is to reproduce a freer behavior of things that is not bound by function through
Xover Parts.
